This is one of the most unusual scarves or shawls that I have ever seen from Yves Saint Laurent and certainly the largest one I have ever seen. It is from the 1986 collection and depicts the leopards that he used extensively throughout that collection - pieces of which are among the most collectible still to this day. It is literally just under 8 feet in length by 4 and a half feet across. Large enough that it can be used as a piece in your home or even as a wall hanging. If you do choose to use it as a scarf or shawl it is surprisingly accommodating because the silk is so fine and of such high quality. The print is custom to fit he scarf exactly and it is mind boggling to think how long it must have taken roll and finish all that edging by hand. Excellent condition
Logo screened onto the silk and hand rolled edges. 94" x 54"
